Our “market van” is for sale! We’re offering it up to our friends and alpaca fanatics first!
After opening our farm store this season, we don’t go to nearly as many markets as we used to attend. Rather than have this van sit unused, it’s time to send it to its next home.
This is a full conversion van (Prelude by Centurion) complete with power windows, power locks, power mirrors, front and rear captain’s chairs, a TV and a VCR, mood lighting in the ceiling, individual reading lights for rear passengers, and a rear bench seat that lies flat into a bed. If you were a kid in the 1990s, this van is basically your dream. As grown adults, we may or may not have fought over who had to drive so we could sit in the back. It’s like flying private but at 75 mph!
We currently have the bench removed as we used this primarily for hauling things, but the bench is included. The head-unit was upgraded with a large screen that is backup camera capable. The backup camera is included but has not been installed.
This van has your typical fluid leaks that you would expect from an older vehicle, but those haven’t affected performance. It’s made both long and short trips for us without issue.
The air conditioning system was completely replaced two summers again and blasted ice cold last time we drove the van in hot weather. It does have rear AC/Heat, too. The front shocks, bearings, brakes, and tie rods have all been replaced in the last 3,000 miles. The headlights were also upgraded to LED. This van does also have the tow package!
The van has some paint oxidation on the roof and hood. The fiberglass side skirts could use a coat of paint. There is a small area of rust behind the driver’s side door. I had every intention of repainting the roof and sideskirts, so you’ll get a full set of custom matched rattle cans in case you want to make this thing look “new” again. The tires are older and should be replaced even though they have decent tread and should last through another season.
We are asking $3,750 OBO for the van and have a clear North Dakota title in hand. The van is currently at our business (Yarn Factory) in Colfax.
